Ultra Fast Lunch or Dinner made with Puff Pastry a “What the House Gives

Hello friends, sometimes we have to cook as fast as, it doesn’t matter fast lunch or dinner. For this emergency time I use puff pastry very often. It’s the kind of thing that just makes things feel like a special occasion. It goes much faster than yeast dough. And if you buy a fresh dough plate on baking paper (finished product from the refrigerated shelf), you don’t even have to deal with rolling it out. Simply place the already existing baking paper on the baking tray, cover with various ingredients, wrap and bake. I filled a roll with bacon, onions and sausage and poured garlic sauce from sour cream over it. The dish can be varied and filled as desired. Anyone can use the ingredients they like best or those they have in the fridge. I have also tried different – sweet and savoury – variations. The hearty variations taste better to us; if I want to make something sweet, they are mostly cakes without baking (e.g. with sponge fingers).

 

Ingredients
1 packet puff pastry
100 g Cubes of ham or bacon
100 g sausage
1 PC. onion
250 ml saure cream or sour cream
250 g Cheese
salt, pepper to taste
parsley to taste
2 cloves of garlic
1 egg yolk

Preparation
Cut the sausage into small pieces and grate the cheese finely.

Salt and pepper the sour cream, add fresh parsley and pressed garlic and mix well.
Place the dough on a baking tray with baking paper.
Tip: Egg tureen – step by step
Put the sour cream sauce in the middle and add the ham cubes, onion and grated cheese. Fold one side down and add the sauce, sausage pieces, onions and cheese.

Brush the edge with whisked egg yolk and fold over the second side. Squeeze the edge well so that the cheese does not run out during baking. Now brush the entire surface with egg yolk.

Bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C until golden brown. Serve with the remaining garlic sauce. Enjoy your meal!

It is a fast way to have a good and delicious food, you can find more recipe that make with puff pastry. But they are not ideal for optimal health or weight loss diets, as they are high in calories and fat, but for few times I think is not so bad, and a about name of them, puff pastries are so named because they puff up when baked.
