Strammer Max with Italian Touch
Do you know when something is so delicious that you can eat it five times in a row – and then do it? That’s how I felt in the last few days. And with this Sunday remainder utilization variation of the Strammen Max.
So such a Strammer Max is always great anyway. And in all variations. But the last days he came again and again exactly like that on the table. And the best thing is: He does it on the side. So a super breakfast / the perfect snack in between / a wonderful snack with acute hunger and little time:
Ingredients (for 1-2 portions)
– (grain) rolls of your choice (one, also from the day before)
– Cream cheese (maybe 20-30 g)
– Parma ham (2 slightly thicker or 4 thinner slices)
– Scamorza (2-3 thinner slices)
– Onion (a small one)
– Eggs (two)
– pepper, salt
– Herbs (possibly chives or basil, etc.)
– oil (1-2 tbsp, mostly olive oil)
Preparation (10-15 minutes)
Peel and halve the onion and cut into fine rings. Brown in a little oil until glassy, turn occasionally.
Depending on the size of the pan, fry two fried eggs in the same pan or a second pan. Season them with pepper, salt and possibly a few herbs.
Cut the bread roll open.
If it is a bit hard, just put it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
Then toast briefly in any case.
Spread the roll thinly with cream cheese.
Then the ham on it.
Spread the onions on top.
Cut the scamorza into thin slices and place on top.
And finally, put the fried egg on top.
And then wait quite a while so that the cheese melts easily…
And now, enjoy it! And then go to work, tear out trees, andand and… 🙂
