Soft: 7 balls 00012 GreyCrochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8]Yarn needle
Shawl measures 196 cm [77”] wide (across top edge) x 86 cm [34”] long (not including fringe).
TENSION/GAUGE: 1 pattern repeat = 24 cm [9½”]. One pattern repeat consists of a pineapple pattern at its widest and the surrounding ch-spaces and shells. Gauge is not critical for this project. CHECK YOUR TENSION/GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the tension/ gauge.
In looking at the pattern it really doesn’t seem like a difficult pattern to work up, you would just have to mindful of keeping your place and marking you piece and your pattern as you go. We all know how that is when you suddenly have to get up and go to the bathroom, then lose your place. I think this project would be worth the slight extra effort. The sidewalk gray is spot on, too.
